sad loss

I've just read that Gail Lynn Brown died in February. She (and Mary Monica Pulver Kuhfeld, for the first half-a-dozen books) wrote the Dame Frevisse and Joliffe books under the name Margaret Frazer. I'm sorry to hear about this, because they - she - wrote some really interesting mysteries. I loved all of the historical detail. I read about her death just in passing, as I was placing a hold on a book about the Benedictines in medieval times. That's how much I love those books: they inspire me to read more about the medieval Benedictines!
