NaNoWriMo X 10!
In celebration of NaNoWriMo - that month where people try to write a full-length novel in a month - a list was posted today that told about some well-known books written in less than a month. Turns out that The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was written in two and a half days. In that time, the author barely ate or slept.
There's a Dilbertcartoon about the "simple but beautiful" language that an employee needs translated after working for a long time with little sleep. Insert your own joke here - I can't be bothered, because I've already typed too much about The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, that offensive little horror of a book.
