the rest is Silence
The Olympics ended about 20 minutes ago, Pacific time, so now I'm back to thinking about books. Aren't I efficient?
I skimmed some Bujold during the Games (Mirror Dance and A Civil Campaign - in both cases, I skimmed everything to do with Miles, which made the latter a short book!), but didn't read much in a serious way. But I've just started a re-read of Pamela Belle's Wintercombe and its sequels, so I'll be bogged down in English Civil War fiction for the next little while. Lovely.
I was so cranky about all the bad press Bode Miller got in the Olympics. If the media has read his book, as I did (smug smug smug, I know), they wouldn't have been so harsh.
