Dear Reader

Not a bookselling site - just a place where I can chat about what I've been reading lately.

this doesn't Bode well...

I'm so tired. I currently hold three positions at work - one officially, and two unofficially, until we can fill those positions (which will be at least another month). I have a cold, I have non-work professional commitments - my life is good, but I'm too tired to read or think much. Last night I dreamt about work twice and about Project Runway once. Good Lord. "Is Santino really as much of a jerk as he seemed on the runway last week? Is it okay that he lied, when Kara didn't give him credit for all the help he gave her?" That's the kind of nonsense that runs through my head.
The Olympics started tonight, yippee! I have very little free time, but I foresee hours of Olympic-watching before me. I know I'm behind, because usually by now I've bought - and read - every magazine that carried Olympic predictions. I haven't even bought them yet!
I've been reading Bode Miller's book this week. It's an "as told to" biography, but I think the casual tone of the book is well suited to the subject. I've also been reading a lot of Meg Cabot this week - I re-read Teen Idol, and am catching up on the Mediator series. I haven't yet made time for Avalon High, which I bought while I was sick last month, or Size 12 is not fat, which I have from the library.
