Dear Reader

Not a bookselling site - just a place where I can chat about what I've been reading lately.

About this blog

I have no intention of selling books through this blog. I'm not a book dealer, so if I mention a great book, that's not a sales pitch. If you don't have a copy, check at your library (If you're in the United States, try http://nces.ed.gov/surveys/libraries/librarysearch/ for a library locator).
I'm writing a blog about books because I read voraciously. Reading colors every other part of my life. I read all kinds of books - lots of children's books, because I'm a children's librarian, but adult books of all kinds as well. Usually I'm in the middle of at least three books: an adult book, a lighter adult book or a children's book, and a comfort read. The comfort read (nearly always a re-read) is ideal for odd moments, moments of stress, or the time right before I go to sleep.
Last book I finished: Excitements at the Chalet School. Not bad, but not worth seeking out unless you're already a Chalet School fan.
